DYRBERG/KERN

Behind the company name DYRBERG/KERN A/S are the two jewellery designers Gitte DYRBERG and Henning KERN. Together, they began to design small fashion collections for women, including a number of attention-attracting earrings, necklaces and bracelets. Around 1990 they ceased to design clothes in order to concentrate on jewellery. They are both involved in the actual design process and the development of their collections.

DYRBERG/KERN has been a limited liability company since 1990 and has developed rapidly throughout the nineties. All design, marketing and administrative activities are based in the Copenhagen head office, which also accommodates a workshop where some of the company's jewellery is made. The jewellery collections are marketed in 20 countries through a well-developed network of agents and distributors.

DYRBERG/KERN is a lean modern organisation in which Gitte DYRBERG is head of design and Henning KERN is managing director. At present the company has 30 employees working in production and administration, and its annual sales reach an eight-figure amount in Euro.
